Inbound Patient Account Services Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of CVS Specialty procedures and the influence of customer service on a patient's journey from order placement to reimbursement.

• Assist patients in navigating intricate billing and reimbursement procedures.

• Establish trustworthy relationships with patients through significant and relevant dialogue.

• Handle challenging or emotional situations and respond swiftly to patient needs with compassion and urgency.

• Precisely document each interaction in the designated Revenue Cycle system.

• Record, assess, and follow up to address patient concerns.

• Collect and evaluate patient information to ascertain eligibility for payment plans.

• Achieve call center performance metrics, including call volume and call quality.

• Utilize technology to communicate with other CVS Specialty divisions.

• Maintain an outgoing, enthusiastic, professional, and caring telephone demeanor.

• Inform Leadership of potential trends for further evaluation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, collections practices, and/or infusion services.

• Proficient with computers, including at least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Strong written and verbal customer service skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Ability to provide emotional support and demonstrate empathy.

• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate business requirements, including 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST, Monday to Friday.

• A verifiable high school diploma or GED is required.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in healthcare billing, collections practices, and/or infusion services.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in pharmacy billing and reimbursement.
