
Inbound Customer Service Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +7 more states.
• Deliver direct assistance to GE Appliances customers via inbound calls, emails, chats, and written requests.
• Balance customer service with inbound sales while recognizing opportunities to upsell products, services, warranties, and memberships.
• Achieve established sales performance metrics and KPIs.
• Provide product information and support for registration.
• Address inquiries related to service, parts, delivery, and dealer locations.
• Resolve customer issues through troubleshooting, sales, service, referrals, and minor concessions.
• Offer limited assistance to owners of non-GE branded appliances.
• Adhere to concession guidelines and utilize GE Appliances contact center systems.
• Create, update, and retrieve customer records to document complaints, actions taken, and resolutions.
• Provide constructive feedback to Quality and Training teams to enhance training processes and materials.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist other areas of the business as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Complete a 9-week full-time training program followed by the regular assigned shift starting from the 10th week.
• One year of relevant experience in a customer service or sales setting.
• Must be a proactive individual who takes initiative and follows through to resolve customer concerns.
• Comprehensive knowledge of processes and procedures.
• Ability to research, analyze data, and make informed decisions on escalated customer issues.
• Good judgment and professional support for customers.
• High level of concentration and attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to interact with customers at all organizational levels.
• Familiarity with web-based systems for troubleshooting and resolution.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems concurrently.
• Capacity to work effectively from home.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and managing multiple systems and screens.
• A dedicated, quiet, distraction-free workspace that can accommodate ASI-provided equipment.
• Local internet service provider and ethernet connection; satellite, prepaid, and DSL connections are not permitted.
• Internet speed requirements: ping 50 Mbps or lower, download 50 Mbps or higher, upload 15 Mbps or higher.
• Commitment to all training days is essential; no absences are allowed during training.
• Must be available to work any shift between 7 AM and 7 PM CST due to biannual shift bids.
