In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Conduct health evaluations within the homes of members.

• Travel extensively, potentially up to 100% of the time, within a specified coverage region.

• Perform visits that last approximately 45 minutes.

• Assess medications and review medical histories.

• Execute physical assessments.

• Carry out additional diagnostic tests when requested, including diabetic eye exams and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and follow clinical workflows for each evaluation.

• Offer virtual visits as necessary.

• Provide Diagnostic & Preventive Services, such as spirometry, DEE, and bone density screenings.

• Establish trusted relationships and contribute to enhancing health outcomes.

• Make referrals to health plans and encourage the involvement of members’ family and friends.

• Stay adaptable for local and multi-state travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Capable of acquiring and maintaining multi-state licenses in the required coverage areas.

• Hold an MD or DO degree.

• Willing to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Comfortable and able to safely perform tasks in homes that may have pets, secondhand smoke, or airborne allergens and irritants.

• Expected weekly hours: 40.
