In-Home Hospice Veterinarian, Euthanasia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary services.

• Support pet families throughout the Metropolitan Salt Lake City and Herriman, Utah region.

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care within the comfort of pets' homes.

• Engage in meaningful discussions with families about anticipatory grief and end-of-life choices.

• Operate independently in the field, without a clinic or waiting room.

• Manage a self-directed schedule that includes rotational weekend coverage.

• Travel between appointments as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• DVM, VMD, BVMS, or a comparable degree from an accredited or otherwise recognized program.

• Active veterinary license in Pennsylvania, or eligibility to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments.

• Comfort in working independently in a field setting.

• Empathetic and clear communication skills for end-of-life discussions.

• Availability for rotational weekend scheduling.

• Capability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and assist with up to 100 lbs, with reasonable accommodations.

• Successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle record check after hiring.
