Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution and support of new client onboardings related to HR administration, payroll, benefits, and leave of absence services, from initial kickoff through to the handoff to ongoing service teams.

• Contribute to the timeline for delivery, client satisfaction during the go-live phase, and ensure a seamless transition to Service Delivery.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of implementation project plans, monitor milestones, and ensure workstreams remain on schedule.

• Configure clients' HRIS and finalize builds on platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, Rippling, and Salesforce.

• Conduct data migrations and verify employee data, payroll history, benefit plans and deductions, as well as PTO balances.

• Set up benefits carrier EDI feeds and GL file feeds, collaborating with Technology for advanced builds.

• Collaborate with Sales, Client Success, Service Delivery, Product, Finance, HRIS partners, and benefits carrier partners.

• Ensure alignment of client expectations, scope, pricing assumptions, and transitions post-implementation.

• Recognize and advocate for opportunities with AI, automation, and modern tools in implementation workflows.

• Document and enhance implementation workflows for more efficient and streamlined onboardings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in supporting and implementing outsourced Payroll and HR services, preferably acquired at a PEO, HRO, or an HRIS technology vendor that provides a full HRIS alongside outsourced services.

• Direct HRIS implementation experience on one or more major platforms, encompassing configuration and data migration: ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, or Rippling.

• Practical experience in payroll processing, including multi-state processing, tax setup, and mid-year conversions with year-to-date balancing.

• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end implementations and overseeing a project plan across multiple workstreams and deadlines.

• A natural problem-solver who excels in complex situations and fosters clarity.

• A systems thinker who connects workflows across various teams.

• Exceptional communication skills coupled with a high-integrity, client-first attitude.

• Experience in implementing benefits administration and leave of absence services.

• Knowledge of benefits carrier EDI feeds, GL file feeds, and integrations across HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and with implementation workflows that are AI-enabled or automation-intensive.

• Project management certifications such as PMP or CAPM are advantageous but not mandatory.

• Payroll professional certifications like FPC or CPP are beneficial but not required.
