Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and set up AeroCloud products in airport environments throughout the US and other regions.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline.

• Act as the technical lead for AeroCloud on-site.

• Oversee successful implementations, including providing on-site hyper care immediately following go-live.

• Coordinate with the Project Manager to escalate and resolve delivery issues.

• Conduct on-site product training for airport IT staff, covering operations, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.

• Provide the project team with regular and clear updates on implementation and deployment progress.

• Adhere to change management processes and comply with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Update and manage the knowledge base through documentation, guides, and insights gained.

• Assist with software updates and patch management.

• Image and configure OCs, servers, and other hardware during installations.

• Support pre-installation planning, testing, on-site deployment, customer training, and short-term post-go-live hyper care before transitioning to Support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering hardware installations within airport settings.

• Knowledge of SaaS deployments in operational contexts.

• Capability to manage multiple product installations across parallel projects and adapt to various airport environments.

• Experience with common use installations is a plus.

• Customer-focused mindset.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

• Comfortable working in live operational environments under tight deadlines.

• Proactive self-starter with the ability to take full ownership of installations.

• Strong proficiency with Windows-based systems.

• Experience managing domain equipment via Active Directory.

• Familiarity with managing Windows Server components.

• Knowledge in networking, including installation and configuration of network switches, firewall setups, VLAN configurations, and IP routing.

• Experience troubleshooting end-user devices.

• Familiarity with USB and Serial connected devices is a plus.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure and AWS, is beneficial.

• Background in airport/airline software is desirable.
