Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the implementation experience for Paylocity’s largest and most intricate clients as the subject matter expert.

• Implement Paylocity software for customers as a vital member of the Implementation team.

• Assist customers during the implementation phase, primarily at client sites, with remote support options available.

• Instruct client administrators and end users on the effective use and management of Paylocity products and applications.

• Guide clients and end users through their initial payroll process.

• Ensure a smooth onboarding process for complex clients and their extended organizations.

• Support prospective client initiatives, both virtually and onsite, by assessing client needs and providing tailored solutions.

• Oversee onsite client visits, managing agendas, discretionary decisions, and follow-ups.

• Lead onsite planning sessions, stakeholder meetings, and logistical arrangements.

• Assist Implementation Consultants and Project Managers with client setup and ongoing maintenance.

• Employ project management and consultative strategies to enhance integrated implementation across various products.

• Facilitate the entry of data from previous payroll providers.

• Maintain expertise in Paylocity products and partnerships, including HR and Payroll, Time and Labor, and the HR Product Suite.

• Conduct training, first payroll support, recovery, and retention efforts onsite.

• Identify and document enhancements to training materials, documentation, processes, and system improvements.

• Develop and deliver instructional content for clients and end users.

• Participate in key implementation milestones for clients in the onsite pipeline.

• Mentor and guide peers while assisting in the onboarding of new consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in payroll, benefits, or as a payroll/HR/Benefits Administrator.

• Experience in Project Management.

• Proven success in managing escalations and retaining at-risk clients.

• Excellent Quality Assurance track record.

• Proficient in SQL, MS Access, or Excel.

• Ability to effectively present HR data.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Must be available five days a week during specified work hours.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time is required.

• Occasional weekend travel may be necessary.

• Capability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours a day.

• Ability to operate a computer, utilize phone systems, type, and manage multiple software programs concurrently.
