This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Act as the PACS liaison among users, vendors, and departments within the Medical Center.
• Provide training for users across various skill levels.
• Identify, analyze, and address issues pertaining to PACS.
• Offer technical support as needed.
• Take part in the on-call rotation.
• Engage in product evaluations.
• Conduct audits, generate reports, and propose recommendations for radiology operations.
• Execute all other assigned responsibilities.
• A minimum of six (6) years of experience in radiology is required, or a related bachelor’s degree coupled with four (4) years of radiology experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience with RIS or PACS systems.
• A solid understanding of radiology operations.
• Familiarity with operating systems software.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective interaction with users of all skill levels, vendors, and Medical Center departments.
• An associate degree is required.
• Certification/licensure in South Carolina Radiology Quality Standards.
• Membership/certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
