IFRS Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Prepare the Group's consolidated financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with IFRS.

• Analyze complex and non-standard transactions and document the accounting approach as per IFRS.

• Develop, implement, and update accounting manuals, reporting instructions, and IFRS methodologies for the Group.

• Coordinate the group audit process, including the Group Audit Package, audit inquiries, and communication with external auditors.

• Support Reporting Accountants with complex IFRS issues during month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting.

• Review financial statements and disclosures for compliance with IFRS and the Group's accounting policies.

• Manage consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidation reconciliations.

• Monitor new IFRS standards and regulatory changes, assess their impact, and implement necessary modifications.

• Participate in the automation, standardization, and optimization of financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in IFRS financial reporting, consolidation, or auditing.

• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and experience applying standards to complex and non-standard transactions.

• Experience in independently preparing the Group's consolidated financial statements and related disclosures.

• Deep understanding of intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidation adjustments.

• Practical experience applying IFRS 15 to revenue recognition.

• Understanding of the preparation of Balance Sheets, P&L statements, Cash Flow statements, and Statements of Changes in Equity.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, General Ledger, financial reporting, consolidation modules, or multi-entity reporting.

• Completed or ongoing certification in ACCA, DipIFR, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Proficient in English at B2 level or higher.

• Analytical thinking and professional judgment in complex IFRS cases.

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to the quality of reporting and technical documentation.

• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple reporting and audit deadlines simultaneously.

• Ownership of complex accounting issues from analysis to documentation.

• Ability to explain complex IFRS matters to Reporting Accountants, auditors, and non-financial stakeholders.

• Continuous improvement mindset.

• Willingness to systematically enhance accounting methodologies and reporting processes.

• Experience using AI tools for accounting research, IFRS analysis, technical documentation, and optimizing reporting processes is a plus.

• Experience in automating and improving financial reporting or consolidation processes is a plus.
