This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
• Travel to various data center locations on a long-term rotational schedule consisting of 4 weeks on the road and 1 week off
• Engage in the startup and commissioning of new units
• Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling systems
• Analyze and interpret regulatory standards and technical documents, including blueprints and schematics
• Foster strong relationships with customers
• Escalate issues for resolution when necessary
• Comply with licensing regulations and operate equipment safely
• Identify HVAC-related hazards, complete safety training, and implement effective safety protocols
• Work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
• Lead teams in high-performance, customer-centric environments
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the HVAC industry
• At least 3 years of experience working on Centrifugal Chillers
• Capability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on rooftops
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must hold a valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company's insurance provider
• Applicants may reside anywhere within the United States
• OSHA 30 Certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with Carrier, Trane, and Daikin Air Cooled and Water-Cooled Centrifugal Chillers is preferred but not mandatory
• Basic knowledge of building automation controls (BOMAC) is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with data centers is preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with Steam Turbines is preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of ServiceMax is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong working knowledge of 19XR, 30CF, and CDU chillers is preferred but not mandatory
• Understanding of air-side systems (constant volume, VAV) is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of water-side systems (hot water, chilled water, condenser water) is preferred but not mandatory
