HubSpot Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of workflow construction and architecture from start to finish, transforming vague business requirements into build, testing, and deployment.

• Develop and manage custom code when HubSpot’s native features are insufficient.

• Independently read, debug, modify, and write JavaScript code.

• Create and resolve integrations utilizing APIs, webhooks, authentication, and JSON.

• Collaborate with sales, service, operations, and administrative teams to comprehend needs and challenge unrealistic requests.

• Incorporate conditional logic, personalization, and property-driven content in email templates and modules.

• Anticipate issues such as duplicate records, missing data, edge cases, and potential downstream workflow complications.

• Investigate failures, identify root causes, and suggest solutions.

• Assess and recommend improved tools for manual processes, advocating for their adoption.

• Report directly to the COO, acting as the technical backbone of Contour’s HubSpot instance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, practical expertise in HubSpot, including objects, properties, associations, workflows, pipelines, and automation tools.

• Proficient coding skills, especially in JavaScript.

• Strong familiarity with HubSpot’s Custom Code actions.

• Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication, and JSON.

• Capability to troubleshoot integrations in case of failures.

• Sound business and process judgment, particularly in assessing workflows from the end user's perspective.

• Ability to transform unclear requirements into solid, comprehensive technical solutions.

• Skill in considering edge cases and potential failure scenarios.

• Comfortable working across the time difference between India and Australia.
