This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Collaborate with clients to design, implement, and enhance contractor risk management programs that comply with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and corporate objectives.
• Perform risk assessments and audits to assess contractor safety performance and discover opportunities for hazard mitigation.
• Benchmark and analyze contractor performance metrics, delivering actionable insights by comparing client data with industry benchmarks.
• Suggest innovative solutions to enhance health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices in contractor management.
• Examine data to identify trends and provide evidence-based recommendations aimed at improving safety outcomes and reducing risk.
• Assist clients in incorporating risk management practices into contractor onboarding, training, and evaluation processes.
• Create customized action plans to address contractor compliance, safety performance, and gaps in risk management.
• Prepare and present training sessions, presentations, and written materials related to contractor management practices.
• Investigate and establish HSE protocols that integrate risk management principles.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and workshops.
• Remain updated on developments in risk management, OSHA legislation, and industry trends.
• Report directly to the HSE Manager.
• At least 4+ years of experience in the HSE sector, with proven expertise in contractor risk management, compliance, and safety auditing.
• Preferred safety certifications include ASP, CSP, CHST, SMS, or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated capability to analyze and benchmark contractor performance metrics, identify trends, and produce actionable insights for clients.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in public speaking, delivering presentations, and creating high-quality written resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities, with a talent for influencing stakeholders and advancing projects.
• Familiarity with emerging safety trends, such as AI-driven risk management tools, is advantageous.
• Previous experience with Veriforce products (CPro, VeriSource, Training Suite) is a bonus but not required.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%–40% within the United States.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
