HSE Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute health, safety, and environmental programs for small to medium-sized clients.

• Foster a positive and proactive culture while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

• Support the implementation and evaluation of playbooks and procedures.

• Ensure that Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives promote consistency and efficiency across programs.

• Oversee initiatives to fulfill regulatory, legal, and compliance obligations.

• Monitor operational and safety risks effectively.

• Formulate and manage strategic risk management plans to mitigate potential incidents.

• Keep track of injury, illness, and incident reports.

• Offer recommendations to mitigate risks.

• Ensure regulatory compliance in Health, Safety, and Environmental matters within the account.

• Collaborate with management to devise strategic solutions that enhance and uphold compliance.

• Recognize potential issues with stakeholders.

• Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to relevant functional managers.

• Exemplify and model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values.

• Influence stakeholders with shared interests to achieve consensus.

• Utilize specialized knowledge to meet team and departmental goals.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve everyday and moderately complex issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, accompanied by 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Additional certifications as mandated by local authorities.

• Capability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complex, and challenging information.

• Skill in conveying performance expectations and addressing issues effectively.

• Leadership abilities to inspire team contributions towards quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Proficient in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving everyday and moderately complex issues.
