This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Offer daily assistance for Workday and associated HR systems
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve HRIS issues along with user inquiries
• Ensure the integrity of employee, organizational, and position data
• Analyze current processes and configure new business workflows
• Set up new updates and enhancements to features
• Conduct regular audits to maintain employee data accuracy and compliance
• Identify and rectify data discrepancies and system inconsistencies
• Support data cleanup initiatives and ongoing governance efforts
• Monitor integrations and address data interface issues
• Create, maintain, and distribute both standard and ad hoc reports
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and leadership regarding reporting needs
• Confirm report accuracy and maintain data consistency across systems
• Assist with workforce analytics and KPI reporting
• Engage in Workday release, enhancement, and project testing
• Develop and execute test scripts and document results
• Support configuration changes and validation activities
• Participate in the implementation of new modules, business processes, and integrations
• Create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and procedural processes
• Assist with end-user training and initiatives to promote system adoption
• Document configuration changes and aid knowledge management efforts
• Help maintain HRIS security roles and permissions
• Carry out security audits and access reviews
• Ensure adherence to data privacy and company security standards
• Contribute to HR technology projects and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discover automation opportunities
• Participate in system implementations and enhancement projects as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a relevant field
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be taken into account
• 1-3 years of experience in supporting HRIS, Workday, payroll, HR operations, data analytics, or similar business systems
• Experience with large datasets and reporting tools
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience with Workday HCM is preferred
• Familiarity with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, or Recruiting processes is preferred
• Experience in HR data auditing and reporting is preferred
• Knowledge of HR system implementations or upgrades is preferred
• Understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle events
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Proficiency with reporting and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of data privacy, confidentiality, and security best practices
