HR Specialist, French Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main HR liaison for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations.

• Handle sensitive employee relations cases, participate in calls or meetings, and create legally compliant documentation.

• Establish and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal consultants.

• Act as the initial point of contact for client inquiries regarding benefits, compliance, and workforce planning.

• Offer insights on labour laws and cultural considerations in Southern Europe.

• Review and provide recommendations on employment contracts and risk management strategies.

• Assist clients with Performance Improvement Plans and ensure timely adjustments to salaries.

• Collaborate with the Global Mobility team to address employees’ immigration and mobility requirements.

• Identify tasks that can be delegated, document procedures, and facilitate efficient handovers.

• Promote the use of automation and AI to enhance HR processes.

• Oversee compliance governance initiatives across Southern European markets.

• Direct global projects aimed at standardizing and enhancing HR practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience.

• Proficiency in French and English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Extensive understanding of labour laws and a solid grasp of employment regulations throughout Southern Europe, particularly in France (portage salarial).

• Background in managing complex employee relations.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Technologically proficient with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.

• Familiarity with the EOR industry is preferred.

• Experience working across various Southern European countries is preferred.
