HR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Serve as the main HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations throughout Australia, with support for New Zealand and other APAC markets as necessary.

β€’ Handle sensitive employee relations issues and terminations, including calls, meetings, and legally compliant documentation.

β€’ Establish and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal experts.

β€’ Act as the initial point of contact for client inquiries regarding benefits, compliance, and workforce planning.

β€’ Offer guidance on ANZ labor laws and the nuances of local culture.

β€’ Review and provide advice on employment contracts and strategies for risk mitigation.

β€’ Assist clients in navigating Performance Improvement Plans and salary adjustments.

β€’ Collaborate with the Global Mobility team to support employees' immigration and mobility requirements.

β€’ Document procedures, pinpoint tasks suitable for delegation, and ensure a seamless workload transition.

β€’ Promote automation and AI integration to enhance HR processes.

β€’ Lead compliance governance initiatives across ANZ markets.

β€’ Spearhead global projects aimed at standardizing and enhancing HR practices.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 3 years of experience in HR.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of labor laws.

β€’ Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, including compliance with Fair Work.

β€’ Application and interpretation skills regarding Modern Awards.

β€’ Practical experience in managing WHS standards and processes related to Workers’ Compensation/Return to Work.

β€’ Experience in addressing complex employee relations matters.

β€’ Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.

β€’ Tech-savvy with proficiency in HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and collaboration platforms such as Zoom and Slack.

β€’ Familiarity with the EOR industry is preferred.

β€’ A working knowledge of New Zealand HR practices and employment would be an additional advantage.
