πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee a substantial portfolio of simultaneous HR projects spanning various functional areas.

β€’ Ensure consolidated visibility of the portfolio, including project status, milestones, resources, risks, dependencies, and upcoming decisions.

β€’ Develop and implement uniform project management standards, tools, templates, and governance for HR initiatives.

β€’ Assist in project intake and prioritization by offering insights into resource needs, dependencies, timing, and capacity.

β€’ Recognize conflicting priorities and resource limitations, escalating issues to HR leadership when necessary.

β€’ Direct projects from initiation through planning, execution, implementation, and closure.

β€’ Create detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, and responsibilities.

β€’ Define roles and accountability within project teams.

β€’ Coordinate efforts across HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, Communications, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.

β€’ Lead project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and decision-making discussions.

β€’ Monitor commitments, actions, deliverables, project documentation, decision logs, and project records.

β€’ Provide support for HR technology, processes, policies, compliance, Total Rewards, talent management, employee experience, and additional initiatives.

β€’ Oversee HR workstreams that involve system enhancements, implementations, integrations, and optimizations, including Workday.

β€’ Manage requirements gathering, testing, user acceptance testing, communications, training readiness, implementation planning, and post-launch activities.

β€’ Identify and manage resource requirements, capacity, conflicts, competing priorities, and inter-project dependencies.

β€’ Coordinate external consultants and vendors in alignment with project plans and deliverables.

β€’ Identify, document, monitor, communicate, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.

β€’ Manage modifications to project scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables through project governance.

β€’ Build relationships across Human Resources and with cross-functional business partners.

β€’ Develop communication strategies and convert project information into updates for HR and senior leadership.

β€’ Promote cross-functional collaboration and ensure stakeholder alignment.

β€’ Create dashboards, status reports, portfolio summaries, leadership updates, project health indicators, and governance reviews.

β€’ Monitor project outcomes and conduct closeouts as well as lessons-learned reviews.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Must successfully pass a background investigation.

β€’ Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities, resources, and stakeholders.

β€’ Experience in managing projects that involve various functional areas and levels of leadership.

β€’ Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies, tools, and practices.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in developing project plans, managing risks and dependencies, coordinating resources, and delivering leadership-level project reporting.

β€’ Bachelor's degree required.

β€’ Minimum of three (3+) years of progressive project management experience overseeing complex, cross-functional initiatives.

β€’ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.

β€’ Previous experience within Human Resources or managing HR-related projects is strongly preferred.

β€’ Experience with managing projects involving Workday or other enterprise HR technologies is preferred.

β€’ Experience in managing projects within a government contracting, highly regulated, or complex matrixed environment is preferred.

β€’ Experience coordinating external consultants, technology partners, and vendors.

β€’ Experience supporting enterprise-wide implementations and organizational change initiatives.
