This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +23 more states.
• Promptly execute and finalize onboarding tasks while following company protocols and maintaining confidentiality.
• Organize onboarding activities and send welcome emails.
• Set up employees within the HRIS system.
• Coordinate equipment and workspace arrangements.
• Oversee employment documentation, benefits enrollment, and I-9 verification processes.
• Assist with pre-employment screenings and recheck employment records.
• Manage reports related to background checks and drug screenings.
• Ensure that all documentation adheres to jurisdictional regulations.
• Process employment verification, payroll/tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
• Develop and maintain onboarding materials and resources.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the onboarding program and suggest improvements.
• Provide support for employee relations during new-hire training.
• Build and maintain relationships with HR, Operations, IT, and managers to address onboarding challenges.
• Ensure that onboarding procedures comply with legal standards and company policies.
• Provide assistance in other human resources functions.
• A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources, training, or learning and development.
• Strong understanding of onboarding best practices, HR policies, and employment regulations.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to adapt to the diverse needs and backgrounds of new hires.
• Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with both remote and in-office team members.
• Ability to lead projects, create timelines, coordinate project teams, and implement action items.
• Capability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
• Competence in utilizing Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Must reside in the US, within the market area.
• Availability during standard business hours, from 8 am to 5 pm EST.
