HR and Compliance Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in a 10-week summer internship program focused on human resources, compliance, and wealth management.

• Acquire practical experience in HR operations, employee engagement, compliance protocols, and regulatory processes.

• Undergo a thorough onboarding process that encompasses Perigon’s mission, values, business operations, and client service standards.

• Rotate through various departments including Financial Planning, Investment Research, Client Services, Operations, Compliance, People & Culture, and Marketing & Business Development.

• Undertake a capstone project in the final 8 weeks of the internship.

• Investigate a business opportunity or challenge and formulate actionable recommendations.

• Present the findings of the capstone project to the leadership team of the firm.

• Foster relationships with mentors and professionals throughout the organization.

• Understand how human resources and compliance functions support an independent registered investment adviser.

• Execute additional job-related tasks and adhere to authorized directives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program.

• Preferred majors include Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.

• Candidates should be juniors, seniors, or postgraduates, with a focus on rising seniors.

• Required GPA of 3.0 or above.

• A sincere interest in wealth management, financial planning, investing, and enhancing client experiences.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

• Demonstrated professionalism and adaptability.

• Strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

• Curiosity and a willingness to be coached.

• Initiative and eagerness to learn are essential.

• Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
