This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Respond to incoming inquiries via phone, text, and chat.
• Perform assessments to identify the nature of contacts and deliver immediate psychosocial support, evidence-based information, and brief interventions.
• Inform help-seekers about perinatal mental health resources and available services.
• Refer help-seekers to the appropriate services and resources listed in approved directories.
• Keep thorough, accurate, detailed, and timely real-time case documentation in Salesforce.
• Ensure documentation complies with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in the virtual workspace and communication platforms.
• Fully engage and communicate with the remote team during shifts via Slack and other designated channels.
• Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of help-seekers and their information.
• Attend and contribute to scheduled meetings, training sessions, and development activities for the Hotline project.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.) is preferred.
• Must be a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Healthcare Professional with experience in maternal and child health, or hold a National or State Certification as a Doula, Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator, or Peer Specialist.
• Two (2) years of professional experience working with the maternal and child health population.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, internet browsers, and search directories.
• Ability to manage conflict and handle distress while assisting help-seekers.
• Must be capable of multitasking and managing potentially unpredictable and high-acuity contacts within a mental health setting.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within designated parameters.
• Capacity to adapt to immediate changes in policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines.
• Must successfully pass a Non–Sensitive Tier II - Moderate Check and Clearance background check administered by HHS.
• Completion of all training required by Postpartum Support International policies and procedures is mandatory.
• Must align with the vision and mission of Postpartum Support International.

• Must have access to a quiet and secure office space to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions consistent with ADA and applicable standards.
• Regular capability to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear; extensive computer use necessitating sufficient hand dexterity and screen-reading ability.
