This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assist in the genetic results counseling program focused on hereditary cancer and adult genetics.
• Deliver results to patients utilizing an innovative approach to genetic results reporting.
• Evaluate risk assessments and results reports for patients undergoing hereditary cancer testing.
• Provide support to various clients across the nation.
• Engage in professional development opportunities including abstracts, publications, physician education, and other projects.
• Collaborate with a nationwide network of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling professionals.
• Master’s degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling.
• Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or Active Candidate Status for ABGC.
• Multi-State Genetic Counselor licensure or the ability to obtain such licensure.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in hereditary cancer Genetic Counseling after completing the Master’s Degree (preferred).
• Highly organized, exhibiting exceptional time management skills.
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Office.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday from 8am to 5pm in the local time zone.
