Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services for pets in their homes.

• Operate independently while on the road.

• Manage a limited number of appointments each day to avoid double-booking and ensure a relaxed pace.

• Provide attentive support to families, explain end-of-life care, and assist them in saying farewell with dignity and peace.

• Serve families located in Greenville, Spartanburg, Easley, Taylors, Greer, South Carolina, and nearby areas.

• Work collaboratively with the Heartstrings Pet Hospice team for ongoing support.

• Engage in onboarding, mentorship, training, and opportunities for professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• A valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Flexibility to choose four weekend days per month that best fit your schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record review prior to the start date.
