Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic hospice and in-home euthanasia services within the comfort of families' residences.

• Operate independently while traveling throughout Providence, Warwick, Cranston, Cumberland, Pawtucket, Tiverton, Rhode Island, and nearby regions.

• Conduct several appointments each day at a relaxed pace.

• Engage with families, clarify end-of-life care processes, and assist them in saying farewell with dignity and tranquility.

• Take part in onboarding, receive personalized mentorship, and enjoy ongoing support.

• Manage a flexible schedule ranging from 2 to 5 days per week, or create a self-directed timetable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).

• Valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Capability to select 4 weekend days each month that align with your lifestyle.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 90 lbs with help.

• Completion of license verification, background checks, and driving record assessments prior to the start date.
