Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic hospice and in-home euthanasia services in the comfort of pets' homes.

• Operate independently while traveling throughout Frederick, Hagerstown, Maryland, and nearby metropolitan areas.

• Manage a limited number of appointments each day at a relaxed pace.

• Spend time with families, address challenging questions, and assist them in saying farewell with dignity and tranquility.

• Offer end-of-life veterinary care in the presence of family members and pets' loved ones.

• Engage in onboarding, mentorship, and continuous professional development support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.

• Select four weekend days per month that align with your personal schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• License verification, background check, and driving record assessment to be completed prior to start date.
