Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services for pets in their own environment

• Operate independently while on the road, collaborating with and receiving support from the team

• Manage a limited number of appointments daily, ensuring no double-booking or time pressure

• Engage with families, clearly explain end-of-life options, and assist them in saying farewell with dignity

• Serve clients across Lexington Park, Mechanicsville, La Plata, Huntington, Maryland, and nearby metropolitan regions

• Opt for a schedule ranging from 2 to 5 days per week or a self-directed timetable

• Designate four weekend days each month for work

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree

• Valid U.S. Driver's License

• Select four weekend days each month that align with your lifestyle

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 90 lbs with assistance

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record assessment prior to start date
