Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services for pets in their homes.

• Operate autonomously while assisting families across various locations in the Jacksonville area.

• Manage a few appointments each day at a relaxed and unhurried pace.

• Engage with families, clarify end-of-life options, and support them in saying farewell with dignity.

• Select and manage a work schedule of 2 to 5 days per week.

• Take part in onboarding, personalized mentorship, and continuous professional development.

• Available to work weekends based on a self-determined schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.

• Capability to select 4 weekend days each month.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record assessment prior to the start date.
