Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic hospice and in-home euthanasia services within the comfort of families' residences.

• Operate independently while traveling throughout Hartford, Glastonbury, Farmington, Avon, Simsbury, Connecticut, and the adjacent metropolitan region.

• Manage a limited number of appointments each day to ensure no double-booking or hasty visits.

• Spend quality time with families, addressing challenging questions, and assisting them in saying farewell with honor and tranquility.

• Select and oversee a schedule of 2 to 5 days per week that aligns with your lifestyle.

• Work collaboratively and receive guidance from seasoned colleagues.

• Engage in onboarding, personalized mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree required.

• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Select four weekend days each month that best suit your personal life.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• License verification must be completed prior to the start date.

• A background check is mandatory before commencing employment.

• Review of driving record is necessary before the start date.
