This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.
• Evaluate patient conditions and determine the appropriate next steps.
• Collaborate with on-call teams to ensure care and resource coordination.
• Document all communications and interventions with accuracy.
• Maintain a composed and professional demeanor while managing urgent calls.
• Offer essential after-hours support for hospice patients and family requirements.
• Coordinate timely interventions and care for patients receiving hospice services.
• Active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.
• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation.
• Capable of typing documentation and notes in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to manage stress and multitask while taking calls.
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Consistent attendance, active communication, and reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts.
• Base pay of $25 per hour, with multiple opportunities to increase the hourly rate up to $28 per hour within the first 6 months of hire.
• Three weeks of paid remote training.

• $2 shift differential for overnight shifts.
• $2 shift differential for weekend shifts (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday).

• Medical, dental, vision, and/or supplemental insurance eligibility for full-time nurses.
