This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.
• Evaluate patient conditions and determine the appropriate next steps.
• Partner with on-call teams to facilitate care and resource coordination.
• Diligently document all communications and interventions.
• Maintain a composed and professional demeanor when managing urgent calls.
• Offer essential after-hours support for hospice patients and family inquiries by phone.
• Ensure timely interventions and effective coordination of care for hospice patients.
• Current multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation.
• Capable of typing documentation and notes in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to manage stress and multitask effectively during calls.
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
• Consistent attendance, proactive communication, and reliable internet connection during all scheduled shifts.
• Availability to work the specified part-time hours: 3:30 PM – 11 PM plus rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9:30 AM – 4 PM CST.
• Base pay starting at $25 per hour with numerous opportunities for hourly rate increases, potentially reaching up to $28 per hour within the first six months of employment.
• Three weeks of paid remote training.
