Hospice Triage RN – Part Time, Weekend Only

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephone triage services for hospice patients and their families

• Evaluate patient conditions and decide on appropriate next steps

• Collaborate with on-call teams to manage care and resources

• Precisely document communications and interventions

• Maintain a composed and professional demeanor while handling urgent calls

• Offer after-hours support and facilitate timely interventions for hospice services

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Preference for experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care

• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation

• Capable of typing documentation and notes in a fast-paced setting

• Ability to manage stress and multitask while receiving calls

• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities

• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting

• Consistent attendance, proactive communication, and reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts

• Availability for weekend shifts only, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST

• Base compensation of $27 per hour

• Various opportunities to increase the hourly rate, potentially reaching up to $30 per hour within the first 6 months of employment
