Hospice Triage RN – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families

• Evaluate patient conditions and identify suitable next steps

• Work in partnership with on-call teams to organize care and resources

• Diligently document all communications and interventions

• Maintain a composed and professional attitude while managing urgent calls

• Offer essential after-hours support and ensure timely interventions for hospice patients and families

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred

• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for documenting calls

• Capability to quickly type documentation and notes in a fast-paced setting

• Ability to manage stress and multitask while receiving calls

• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities

• Capacity to work independently in a remote work environment

• Reliable attendance, proactive communication, and dependable internet connectivity during scheduled shifts

• Starting pay of $25 per hour, with several opportunities to elevate the hourly rate to $28 per hour within the first 6 months of employment

• $2 shift differential for overnight shifts

• $2 shift differential for weekend shifts (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday)
