Hospice Triage RN, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephone triage services for hospice patients and their families

• Evaluate patient conditions and identify appropriate next steps

• Collaborate with on-call teams to ensure coordinated care and resource allocation

• Precisely document communications and interventions

• Maintain a composed and professional demeanor while managing urgent calls

• Offer essential after-hours support and facilitate timely interventions for hospice services

⛳️ Requirements

• Active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license required

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred

• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation

• Ability to type notes and documentation quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Capacity to manage stress and multitask while handling calls

• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting

• Reliable attendance, active communication, and dependable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts

• Base pay starting at $25 per hour, with several opportunities for increases, potentially reaching up to $28 per hour within the first 6 months of employment
