Hospice Triage RN, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.

• Evaluate patient conditions and determine suitable next steps.

• Work collaboratively with on-call teams to coordinate care and resources.

• Ensure accurate documentation of communications and interventions.

• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when managing urgent calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.

• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records (EMR).

• Capable of typing documentation and notes in a fast-paced setting.

• Ability to manage stress and multitask while receiving calls: a minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 per hour on weekends.

• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.

• Competent to work independently in a remote setting.

• Reliable attendance, active communication, and stable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts.
