Hospice Triage RN, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.

• Evaluate patient conditions and identify suitable next steps.

• Work collaboratively with on-call teams to manage care and resources.

• Ensure precise documentation of all communications and interventions.

• Maintain a composed and professional attitude when dealing with urgent calls.

• Offer essential after-hours support and coordinate care for hospice patients receiving services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.

• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMR).

• Capable of typing documentation and notes in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to manage stress and multitask effectively while answering calls.

• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.

• Consistent attendance, proactive communication, and dependable internet connection during all scheduled shifts.

• Availability for the specified part-time schedule: 3:30 PM–11 PM plus rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts, 9:30 AM–4 PM CST.
