Hospice Triage RN, Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families

• Evaluate patient conditions and identify suitable next steps

• Work in collaboration with on-call teams to manage care and resources

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of all communications and interventions

• Uphold a calm and professional demeanor while addressing urgent calls

⛳️ Requirements

• Current multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred

• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records (EMR)

• Ability to document and take notes quickly in a fast-paced setting

• Capacity to manage stress and multitask while handling calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, and up to 8 per hour on weekends)

• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting

• Reliable attendance, effective communication, and stable internet connectivity during scheduled shifts
