This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.
• Evaluate patient conditions to identify suitable next steps.
• Coordinate care and resources in collaboration with on-call teams.
• Precisely document communications and interventions.
• Maintain a composed and professional demeanor while managing urgent calls.
• Assist with after-hours care delivery and patient-care coordination for hospice and home-health providers.
• Active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) is necessary.
• Capability to document and take notes in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to manage stress and multitask while handling calls.
• Minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, increasing to 8 calls per hour on weekends.
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities are essential.
• Must be able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Consistent attendance and proactive communication during scheduled shifts are required.
• Reliable internet connection must be maintained during scheduled shifts.
• Three weeks of paid remote training.
• Access to a supportive clinical team.
• Flexibility to work from home / remote.
• Shorter shifts to enhance work-life balance.
• Opportunities to raise hourly rate up to $28 within the first six months of employment.
• $2 shift differential for overnight shifts.
• $2 shift differential for weekend shifts (Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday).
• Paid Time Off (PTO) accumulation for both part-time and full-time nurses, based on hours worked.
