
Hospice Intake Nurse Coordinator β Weekends, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.
β’ Act as the main backup Intake Nurse for all Ennoble Care markets, covering during PTO, leaves of absence, and staffing shortages.
β’ Support market Intake Nurses by managing overflow referrals and handling increased workloads during peak times.
β’ Receive, evaluate, and process referral and intake data in accordance with company protocols and regulatory guidelines.
β’ Complete referral and intake documentation and submit them for admission approval.
β’ Confirm Medicare coverage and benefit period details.
β’ Coordinate and schedule appropriately skilled clinicians to address cases and input scheduling data into the EMR.
β’ Provide standardized education and training to newly recruited Intake staff across all markets.
β’ Create and update training materials, reference documents, and standard operating procedures.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert on intake best practices, regulatory compliance, and EMR usage.
β’ Collaborate with Compliance on process enhancements and quality assurance projects.
β’ Offer mentorship and guidance to market Intake Nurses.
β’ Communicate effectively with market leadership, clinical teams, and Compliance.
β’ Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and compliance-related activities.
β’ Occasional travel may be necessary for in-person training or company meetings.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in hospice or home health intake.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience with EMR systems.
β’ Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate various systems and maintain precise electronic records.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Proven capacity to work independently in a remote setting with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
β’ Experience in training, mentoring, or onboarding clinical or administrative personnel (preferred).
β’ Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance verification processes (preferred).
β’ Experience working across multiple markets or regions within a home health or hospice organization (preferred).
β’ Active LPN or RN license in good standing (multi-state or Compact license preferred).
β’ Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, private workspace.
