Home Visits Buyer – Jewellery & Antiques

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct multiple home visit appointments each day, spanning 3 or 4 days a week in the capacity of an expert and buyer.

• Travel to clients’ residences, ensuring drive times remain within 2 hours.

• Maintain a professional, informative, and respectful demeanor with all clients.

• Make purchase offers for customers’ items.

• Negotiate offers as necessary.

• Clarify why certain items may not be suitable for purchase.

• Occasionally attend regular buying roadshow events as an expert and buyer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong interest in Gold, Jewellery, Silver, Cameras, Binoculars, Toys, Costume Jewellery, Writing Instruments, Militaria, Music or Movie Memorabilia, and similar vintage specialties.

• Experience in buying and/or selling antiques, collectibles, and jewellery, either as a dealer or valuer in an auction environment.

• A keen and commercially astute salesperson and negotiator.

• Very personable, approachable, and trustworthy.

• Must possess a car and be open to staying away from home when necessary.

• Proven experience in buying and/or selling antiques, collectibles, gold, and jewellery.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Established track record in developing customer relationships.

• Confident negotiator with strong commercial awareness.

• Full UK driving licence and personal vehicle required.

• Right to work in the UK is essential.

• Must be willing to travel longer distances for appointments.
