Home Infusion Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Deliver patient-focused care in home or clinical settings for individuals undergoing intrathecal pain or spasticity management therapy.

• Administer and oversee intrathecal pump therapy for patients suffering from chronic pain or spasticity.

• Carry out pump refills, reprogramming, and troubleshooting in collaboration with prescribing providers.

• Educate patients and their caregivers on medication protocols, pump operation, and recognition of adverse reactions or infections.

• Work in partnership with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to guarantee continuity and quality of care.

• Accurately and promptly document care activities, assessments, and communications in electronic medical records.

• Maintain an independent schedule while traveling throughout the service area.

• Operate in a full-time, permanent position from Monday to Friday.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

• Preference for additional licensure or compact status.

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in home infusion or pain management.

• Home health experience is preferred.

• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred.

• Recent TB Skin test or QuantiFERON blood test conducted within the last 12 months.

• Exceptional clinical judgment, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a home environment and managing a flexible work schedule.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Capability to perform one-person CPR continuously in accordance with American Heart/Red Cross standards.

• Willingness to travel within the area, up to 180 miles.

• Ability to frequently travel, stand, sit, walk, see, hear, use hands and fingers, handle objects, reach, and bend.

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
