Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist patients with their daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and providing mobility support.

• Deliver personal care and companionship in private homes or hotel recovery suites.

• Aid in post-operative recovery and long-term care tasks under the guidance of a supervising nurse.

• Administer non-medical medication reminders only.

• Measure and document vital signs as assigned by a licensed nurse.

• Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or LVN.

• Provide assistance with comfort measures, positioning, and safe patient transfers.

• Record care in compliance with Vitale Nursing, Inc. policies.

• Operate under the supervision of an RN or LVN.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current CNA Certification in California.

• Active Home Health Aide certification issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

• Valid BLS/CPR Certification.

• Reliable means of transportation.

• Professional, punctual, and trustworthy attitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Three professional references.

• Proof of Malpractice Insurance.

• Successful completion of a background check.

• Two forms of identification: Driver’s License/Passport and Social Security card.

• Physical exam and TB test completed within the last year.

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, or a plan to obtain them.

• Previous experience in private duty home care preferred.

• Familiarity with post-operative recovery processes preferred.

• Experience in supporting hospice and palliative care patients preferred.

• Prior CNA/HHA experience in home health or skilled nursing preferred.
