Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assist clients safely with transfers, bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility while upholding their dignity.

• Change linens, carry out light laundry tasks, and ensure a sanitized, hazard-free home environment.

• Provide reminders for medication and monitor any symptoms.

• Observe alterations in condition and document vital signs or concerning indicators for the supervising nurse.

• Engage in therapeutic activities such as reading aloud, reminiscence, range-of-motion exercises, and short walks.

• Record care notes, progress updates, and concerns in the digital charting system prior to the end of each shift.

• Deliver non-medical home care that supports clients' dignity, safety, comfort, and independence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide program (HHA certificate) is required.

• At least 1 year of paid experience in home health or hospice care.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary.

• Reliable transportation to visit clients’ residences is essential.

• Must possess clear and confident communication skills.

• A genuine passion for relationship-centered care is important.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Certification as a Home Health Aide License in New Jersey is required.
