Home Care Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services to clients in aged care.

• Conduct general housekeeping duties and make beds.

• Clean, mop, and vacuum floors thoroughly.

• Wash, fold, and iron laundry items.

• Prepare meals and handle grocery shopping.

• Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering, and dressing.

• Support clients in achieving mobility and therapy objectives.

• Provide specialized care for customers with high care needs, including those with dementia.

• Offer social and emotional support to clients.

• Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments.

• Help family caregivers by allowing them to take breaks or attend to other commitments.

• Work independently, identifying solutions to everyday challenges and seeking managerial assistance when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 months experience in a related position.

• Possession of a valid Australian Driver's Licence.

• An insured, roadworthy vehicle is required.

• Completion of a National Police check before starting the role.

• Completion of a Work Rights check prior to commencement.

• Confirmation of COVID-19 vaccination status before starting (highly recommended, not mandatory).
