This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Conduct PURE 360 Risk assessments by examining diverse and intricate property conditions across various regions, construction styles, and environmental variables.
β’ Analyze and interpret results to evaluate the likelihood and severity of potential losses.
β’ Make well-informed recommendations utilizing professional judgment.
β’ Suggest loss prevention strategies and prioritize actions based on the impact of risks.
β’ Evaluate property conditions and considerations for replacement costs.
β’ Identify significant risk factors and assess their relevance to underwriting decisions, loss potential, and business operations.
β’ Collaborate with Underwriting and internal stakeholders to facilitate risk selection and business strategies.
β’ Assess unique site conditions along with geographic and peril-specific risk elements.
β’ Work independently in the field, adjusting methods to suit property-specific circumstances.
β’ Convey assessment outcomes, recommendations, justifications, and potential risk implications effectively.
β’ Uphold the PURE brand while interacting with members in their homes and provide a professional service experience.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory; significant relevant field experience is highly regarded.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Risk Manager at an insurance company, or in a related insurance capacity with exposure to property risk assessment and broader risk management practices.
β’ Alternatively, 5+ years of experience in high-value home construction, skilled trades (such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC), home inspection, appraisal, or a related discipline.
β’ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
β’ Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in complex scenarios.
β’ Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
β’ Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
