HNW Residential Property Advisor – Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Conduct PURE 360 risk evaluations of diverse and intricate property conditions across various regions, construction types, and environmental influences.

• Analyze results to determine loss probability and severity, and formulate recommendations.

• Suggest loss prevention strategies and prioritize actions based on the impact of risks.

• Evaluate property conditions and consider replacement costs.

• Identify significant risk factors and assess the implications of exposures that influence underwriting decisions, loss potential, and business operations.

• Collaborate with Underwriting and internal teams to facilitate risk selection and business decisions.

• Assess unique site conditions along with geographic and peril-specific risk factors.

• Function autonomously in the field while adjusting methods to suit property-specific conditions.

• Present assessment outcomes, recommendations, rationale, and potential risk implications.

• Represent the PURE brand at members’ residences, providing an informed and considerate service experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory; relevant field experience is highly regarded.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Risk Manager at an insurance carrier or a related insurance role focused on property risk assessment and broader risk management practices, or 5+ years in high-value home construction, skilled trades, home inspection, appraisal, or a related field.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to exercise independent judgment and discretion in complex situations.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving capabilities.
