This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct virtual and in-person presentations that highlight Gemini for Education and Google AI Pro for Education.
• Address the priorities of Higher Education CIOs and CTOs, including research advancement, administrative efficacy, data protection, and the ethical implementation of AI.
• Travel across North America for in-person training sessions and executive presentations at client and partner sites, as well as industry conferences.
• Create executive-level content and presentations for the strategic deployment of Gemini and Google AI Pro.
• Manage integration with essential academic and administrative systems while overseeing institution-scale AI projects.
• Develop compelling value propositions and technical use cases tailored for senior IT leadership in Higher Education.
• Foster consultative relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT governance entities, and institutional policymakers.
• Remain informed about developments in Gemini, Google AI Pro, Google Workspace for Education, enterprise AI, data security, compliance, and educational technology trends.
• Submit proposals for conference sessions and present as an expert in AI and IT strategy at Higher Education conferences.
• Track and report metrics related to AI adoption, enterprise licensing, and executive engagement.
• Provide technical consulting during complex pre-sales processes and in large-scale AI infrastructure planning.
• Address advanced technical inquiries related to AI and products.
• Articulate CDW Education services and value propositions for enterprise AI and cloud solutions.
• Identify and coordinate executive briefings, technical workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with 5+ years of experience in a Higher Education institution, specifically within IT departments managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, and/or strategic AI initiatives, or 9+ years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Higher Education enterprise IT systems, which includes identity and access management (e.g., Active Directory, SAML/SSO), enterprise governance, research computing environments, Student Information Systems (SIS), and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• An understanding of the technical, ethical, and governance challenges associated with deploying and managing LLMs and AI tools in secure and compliant Higher Education settings.
• Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and negotiation abilities to effectively engage senior IT executives.
• Capability to establish trust-based relationships and navigate complex institutional and stakeholder environments.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience in business development or educational technology sales aimed at enterprise Higher Education accounts, with a demonstrated history of exceeding targets, is advantageous.
• Practical experience with Gemini for Education, Google AI Pro, or other enterprise-level LLM/AI platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM software and enterprise sales methodologies is an advantage.
• Proven track record in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for intricate AI or cloud solutions within Higher Education is a plus.
• Ongoing maintenance and updating of relevant certifications is expected.
• Annual bonus target of 66.67% based on the terms and conditions of the plan.
