This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with the “At-Risk” student demographic to provide remediation and foster academic development.
• Adapt and modify the K12 curriculum to align with state content standards, catering to the unique needs of students.
• Partner with general education teachers in individualized and small-group instructional sessions.
• Educate parents on effective instructional strategies.
• Ensure the successful implementation of the MTSS instructional framework.
• Supervise data collection and progress monitoring across all tiers.
• Utilize data to assist teachers in planning both whole- and small-group instruction.
• Guide educators in identifying and organizing students who require additional support.
• Gather and maintain MTSS data, including lists of eligible students and intervention strategies.
• Act as a daily MTSS resource for school administrators, leadership teams, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate and monitor Tier 3 interventions with FASLs, teachers, advisors, counselors, and district personnel.
• Provide continuous MTSS training and support to school and district staff.
• Assist teachers in documenting student progress.
• Collaborate with the special education team to facilitate eligibility for special education services.
• Travel for professional development and testing as necessary.
• Valid Ohio State Licensure.
• Must be a resident of Ohio.
• Bachelor's degree along with one (1) year of classroom experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
• Capability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with web-based tools.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to travel up to 10% of the time for meetings.
• Must pass the required background check.
• Ability to work autonomously, typically exceeding 40 hours per week.
• Ability to maintain a distraction-free professional home office during work hours.
• Experience with “At Risk” students is preferred.
• Reading Endorsement is preferred.
