This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +3 more states.
β’ Provide engaging and impactful synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
β’ Tailor learning experiences for all students and differentiate instruction based on their mastery levels.
β’ Enhance course content by utilizing suitable asynchronous and synchronous tools under the guidance of principals and coaches.
β’ Maintain the grade book while ensuring academic integrity for students.
β’ Make decisions regarding student placement and promotion.
β’ Track student progress using Stride K12βs learning management system.
β’ Notify administrators about any concerns related to student performance and progress.
β’ Prepare students for significant standardized assessments.
β’ Build and sustain positive relationships with families.
β’ Communicate and respond to students and learning coaches/parents promptly.
β’ Assist learning coaches/parents with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting queries.
β’ Travel for in-person professional development, student assessments, and other school-related duties.
β’ Valid High School English Certificate.
β’ Bachelor's degree.
β’ Current state teaching license.
β’ Capability to pass the necessary background check.
β’ Ability to work independently, typically for over 40 hours per week.
β’ Capacity to maintain a distraction-free professional home office environment during work hours.
β’ Preference for residents of Texas; residents of New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana may also be considered.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time, averaging once per month.
β’ Experience working with the specified age group.
β’ Familiarity with assisting adults and children in utilizing technology.
β’ Experience in teaching online/virtually and/or in a traditional classroom setting.
β’ Proficiency with online learning platforms.
β’ Ability to interpret and create numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
β’ Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.
β’ Capability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum.
