Hedis Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and upkeep of projects related to quality improvement and reporting.

• Address inquiries regarding quality improvement initiatives.

• Oversee the generation of quality results reports; analyze, monitor, and identify trends in reporting outcomes, and communicate findings to management.

• Develop and prepare additional and ad-hoc reporting requirements.

• Suggest, devise, and execute quality improvement strategies in collaboration with management.

• Educate providers and staff on continuous quality improvement methodologies and tools.

• Prepare for and engage in meetings with state agencies, providers, and stakeholders.

• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with state and internal standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive experience in chart monitoring and auditing of medical records.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in communicating with all levels of management and both internal and external customers.

• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent written communication skills for business purposes and the ability to engage with both technical and business audiences.

• Competent in drafting effective business specifications and requirements.
