This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations, evaluations, negotiations, and resolutions of claims in a fair, prompt, and equitable manner.

• Assess claims, verify coverage eligibility, and carry out necessary investigations.

• Examine heavy trucks, trailers, and other equipment to ascertain the extent of damage.

• Create detailed written estimates for repair costs and/or establish actual cash value.

• Engage in direct negotiations with clients and third parties.

• Collect and assess written and recorded salvage bids in cases of total loss.

• Capture photographs of damaged property to accurately document the scope of damage and identify property.

• Maintain comprehensive, precise, and self-sustaining records of investigations and actions undertaken.

• Keep technical manuals and electronic reference materials current.

• Stay updated on industry trends, repair methodologies, and operational procedures.

• Organize and plan work schedules to optimize travel efficiency.

• Travel frequently by car and/or airplane; anticipate approximately 50% travel, including regular overnight stays and occasional multi-night trips.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferably possess industry experience with heavy trucks and trailers, with a desire to enhance knowledge in the industry and estimating practices.

• Prefer two years of experience in automotive body work or vocational training in a related area, demonstrating a fundamental understanding of automobile body components, or hold a four-year degree.

• Capable of efficiently managing assigned claims with minimal supervision.

• Preferably have two years of customer service experience.

• Strong analytical abilities, computer proficiency, and effective time management skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

• Must not require employment visa sponsorship.

• Must not be a student or recent graduate on a J-1 or F-1 visa or other similar temporary work authorization.

• Physical capability to move, see, and hear adequately for assessing claims damage.

• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to noise, heat, and/or cold conditions.

• Willingness to adjust work schedules or extend hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
