
Healthcare Technology and Innovation Manager – Neuroscience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Direct account action strategies to guarantee reimbursement and formulary inclusion of AbbVie’s neuroscience offerings.
• Assess the access status of products within accounts, focusing on coverage, protocols, treatment lines, and competitive landscape.
• Identify key stakeholders, decision-makers, influencers, and their networks.
• Analyze each account’s decision-making processes and criteria.
• Spearhead tactical formulary inclusion and access-enablement initiatives in collaboration with GD, MSL, and GPE teams.
• Articulate the products’ value proposition, covering disease information, unmet medical needs, clinical significance, and economic value.
• Utilize pharmacoeconomic tools, simulators, and calculators to assist decision-makers.
• Distribute technical and scientific materials, including network meta-analyses, indirect treatment comparisons, and real-world evidence studies.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with external stakeholders, healthcare managers, opinion leaders, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure IFT governance and alignment on formulary inclusion, access-enablement, and access-expansion initiatives.
• Stay aligned with Strategic Partnership Managers to facilitate commercial negotiations and strategic projects.
• Report on account-plan status to Access leadership and the Value Proposition/Access Strategy Manager.
• Engage in internal and Brand Team meetings, providing project updates and contributing to brand strategy.
• Organize quarterly field visits and meetings (MCCP).
• Document meetings, summaries, and account plans in platforms such as Veeva.
• Conduct all activities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, codes of conduct, and company policies.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a healthcare-related discipline.
• Proficient in English for reading scientific literature.
• A postgraduate degree or master’s in a healthcare-related field is a preferred qualification.
• Experience in a Technology and Information Manager role or similar fields.
• Familiarity with the private healthcare market, health insurers, and healthcare providers.
• Background in neuroscience or biologic medications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Central-West, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, North, and Northeast regions.
• Understanding of evidence-based medicine and fundamental pharmacoeconomic concepts such as cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, cost per responder, NNT, and related measures.
• Acquainted with healthcare policies and the access landscape in both public and private sectors.
• Ability to comprehend and convey scientific and pharmacoeconomic information to high-level scientific audiences.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and succinctly.
